daycount is free for personal and commercial use. No signup, no paywall, no tier limits. You are welcome to bookmark it, share links, and embed screenshots in your own writing.

As-is, no warranty

The tools are provided as-is, without warranty. The calculations use standard JavaScript date arithmetic and are accurate for the ranges we've tested (roughly 1900 to 2100 CE). Do not use daycount as the sole source for legally, medically, or financially critical decisions. For statutory deadlines, tax dates, or contract dates, cross-check with an authoritative source.

What you can't do

• Attempt to overwhelm the site with automated traffic or scraping bots. Read llms.txt if you're an AI crawler.
• Rewrap the site under a different brand and pass it off as your own (the source is on GitHub under an open-source licence you can build on — but respect attribution).

Changes to the site

We add and remove tools, holidays, and timezone pairs over time. If a shareable countdown URL you saved stops working, it's probably because the underlying event was retired — use the custom countdown instead, which encodes the date in the URL itself and never expires.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute that can't be resolved amicably can be brought in the courts of Delhi.
